Tudor Tutorial

A turn of the century original Tudor estate house is modernized while its deeply rooted traditional character is maintained. The main challenge for most Tudor style houses is to try and brighten things up; the heavy wood beams and wall paneling were lightened in color, while new contemporary style wall paneling painted in contrast help bridge the house from its historic past into present day. Color is often feared by most in their homes, but when daring, bright colors and contemporary furniture and artwork can be used to anchor gracious rooms with a transitional undertone in a modern way throughout.
